Safeguard Client Busy Bees Wins Top Safety Award

Congratulations to Busy Bees for achieving a prestigious award from one of the world’s leading Health and Safety organisations, the British Safety Council (BSC),  for the 4th year running.

The British Safety Council’s International Safety Award is awarded following rigorous and independent assessment of an organisation’s Health and Safety policies and procedures by an adjudication panel.

For an organisation to win this coveted award, it must provide evidence that it not only has comprehensive Health and safety policies in place but that there is a clear commitment to Health and Safety throughout the organisation and the organisation is committed to promoting a positive safety culture.  Winning organisations must also be able to demonstrate the competence of those responsible for the management of Health and Safety and provide evidence of improvements they have achieved in Health and Safety during the year.

Thanks to Safeguard, Busy Bees were able to provide the BSC with detailed evidence which included sample risk assessments, accident statistics and management reports, information relating to the levels of training, experience and qualifications of the Health and Safety team.

Marg Randles, Operations Director, was delighted with the result, commenting: “We are very proud to have been awarded the BSC International Safety Award for the fourth consecutive year, thanks to the continuous hard work of the Busy Bees Healthy and Safety Team. We take safety very seriously and will continue to deliver the highest standards of safety to children and employees at Busy Bees.”
