Rivo shortlisted for GO Awards Scotland

Rivo has been shortlisted for The National Government Opportunities (GO) Excellence in Public Procurement Awards for Best Service for their contract with the National Library of Scotland. This Award recognises the successful delivery of a contract between a private organisation working in partnership with a public sector organisation in Scotland. Organisations that have been shortlisted have been able to demonstrate a high level of collaboration with the buyer, a high level of understanding of end user requirements and have delivered a service which exceeds the expectations of the buyer.

Rivo worked with the five public sector institutions: National Library of Scotland, National Museums Scotland, Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh, Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland and the National Galleries of Scotland to implement a Health & Safety software system across all five institutions. This groundbreaking agreement between the five separate bodies has provided them with a much more coherent approach to safety management and has enabled substantial cost savings. The Ceremony takes place on 28 October 2009. More information can be found at http://www.govopps.co.uk/awardscotland/finalists.htm
