Port of Tyne sign up to use Safeguard

One of the UK’s largest trust ports, Port of Tyne, will be replacing their incident and accident reporting system with Safeguard. The Port of Tyne’s business areas comprise: conventional & bulk cargoes; logistics; car terminals; cruise and ferries; and estates.

Using Safeguard will help the Port of Tyne more effectively record, monitor and manage incidents and investigations. Safety & Environment Manager Steve Reid commented:
“Given the Port’s diversity and because Safeguard is web-based, its flexibility and scalability is ideal in managing our HSE risks.”
