By managing all your COSHH data in one central inventory, users at locations throughout your organisation can share information, saving time by reducing duplication of effort. A straightforward three-step process helps users identify a substance, obtain the Manufacturer Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and complete a risk assessment. When a new substance is added, data can be accessed instantly by all sites.

Substance inventory

Our COSHH Software allows you to create an inventory of substances for each location within your organisation. Each substance can have a Manufacturer Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) attached to it and a risk assessment associated with it. When a data sheet for a substance has been uploaded, that data sheet immediately becomes available to all Safeguard COSHH module users in your organisation.

Share information

To make sure no-one in your organisation is left out, the Safeguard COSHH software intranet plug-in publishes your COSHH inventory to your company intranet and automatically updates it every time a change is made.

Assessing risk

COSHH risk assessments can be carried out using the pre-designed templates, or templates customised to specific requirements.

COSHH risk assessments can be created for individual substances and for tasks or processes in which multiple substances are used. The templates used for risk assessments can be customised to capture the exact information you require.

Templates typically cover the hazard types, safe systems of work, control measures, emergency procedures, method of disposal, health surveillance requirements, new and legacy exposure limits and R and S-Phrases as well as notes for young persons and new and expectant mothers.
