Rivo has recently held a number of seminars around the theme of Managing Occupational road risk. The first seminar was held at the Headquarters of Strathclyde Fire and Rescue in Hamilton and the second in Warwick. The sessions were designed to give clients some background information on occupational road risk, provide them with some ideas on how to manage road risk and help implement some robust road risk strategies. At the seminars, we were fortunate to have a panel of expert speakers including RoSPA’s Head of Road Safety, Kevin Clinton, a legal expert from Biggart Baillie who talked about the legal implications for organisations of not properly managing road risk and also a risk consultant, who has worked with a number of organisations setting up road risk policies and procedures.
